Sidefari is a straightforward web browser that serves as a companion to Safari. It utilizes an iOS feature known as the Safari View Controller to present a condensed version of Safari, complete with features like content blockers. This can be quite advantageous for users.
In iOS 10.2 and later versions, Sidefari includes an extension called "Open Modally in Safari." This extension enables users to open a Safari-based window within other apps that support sharing website URLs. There are a couple of reasons why you might want to utilize this feature. Firstly, it allows you to enjoy the convenience of having certain Safari features integrated directly within the same app. Additionally, if privacy is a concern, you may prefer not to use the custom web browser that many apps provide.
In iOS 9, Sidefari offers an extra Safari-based browser panel on the side of the screen when using multitasking on an iPad.
